About Us

A little about earthandmindtherapy

earthandmindtherapy is an independent counselling practice led by Jordan, a qualified Integrative Counsellor and registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

Jordan has always had an interest in people and their stories, recognising that everyone has their own experiences, challenges and ways of seeing the world. This belief sits at the heart of the work at earthandmindtherapy.

The aim is to offer a warm, friendly and non-judgemental space where you can feel comfortable being yourself, talk openly and feel listened to. Whether you're going through a difficult time, struggling to make sense of things or simply need someone to talk to, you don't have to have all the answers before reaching out.

My approach to counselling

As an Integrative Counsellor, Jordan draws on Person-Centred, Psychodynamic and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) approaches. This allows the work to be shaped around each individual's needs, rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.

Jordan believes counselling is something you work through together. There is no pressure to find the right words or move at a particular pace. The focus is on understanding your experiences, exploring what feels important to you and finding a way forward that feels right.

Who we work with

Jordan works with adults and children and young people aged 11–18, offering support around a range of difficulties and life experiences.

Having completed specialist training in counselling children and young people, Jordan understands the importance of adapting the approach to suit different ages, needs and individual experiences.

Sessions are available face-to-face in Chester, as well as remotely via secure video call or telephone across the UK.

Taking that first step

Getting in touch about counselling can sometimes feel like a big step, particularly if you've never spoken to a counsellor before.

You don't need to know exactly what to say or where to begin. If you're considering counselling and would like to find out more, you're welcome to get in touch. We can have an initial conversation and see whether working together feels right for you.
